Consider the following videos as you begin to think about creating lessons that address the needs of all learners and allow you to assess  student knowledge in mathematics.

See Task 1 Prompt 1 a,b,c in your edTPA handbook

Identify the Central Focus of the lesson in this video.  If you were this teacher, how would you say you addressed student’s Conceptual Understanding, Procedural Fluency, and Math Reasoning or Problem Solving?

See Task 1 Prompt 3c         AND

Task 1 Prompt 4 a,b,c,d

Identify the Language Function of this lesson. Also note what misconceptions students had about the task.  If you were this teacher what would be key points you would want to include as you wrote up Prompt 3c and Prompt 4a,b,c,d?
